On 02.03.2018-03.03.2018 the Friendly Seminar & Training took place in Bottrop, with numerous participants from Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.

The organizers of the two-day seminar – with a friendly tournament on Sunday – were Tim Kaprol and Björn Wasseveld from Kummooyeh Bottrop.

The seminar itself was led by the Head Instructors Tim Olbrich and Maik Löhr of the Lower Saxony Kummooyeh Association, which were supported by many instructors from Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.

The seminar participants experienced an exciting seminar with varied exercises for beginners and advanced students. In addition to basic techniques, partner exercises, sword forms and sparring, the seminar leaders did also teach meditation and archery.

On Friday and Saturday evening Kummooyeh Bottrop hosted a cosy get-together with a Korean BBQ, informal talks and an exchange of experiences. It was a successful evening with a friendly and informal atmosphere.

On the second day of the seminar, there was a friendly competition in the disciplines sparring and archery. The seminar participants and spectators were excited about thrilling fights in which the Participants could prove their skills. Excitement, fairness and valuable experiences for the participants shaped this special day. It was the first Kummooyeh competition in Germany.

Each representative Kummooyeh school showed great performances and was rewarded with placing on the winner’s podium.
Kummooyeh Germany thanks to the organizers, instructors and seminar participants for their commitment. It was an exciting weekend that everyone will remember.
